CHDx18 - Continuous Flow Automation
Seamless Integration. Uninterrupted Production.
Overview
Designed for uninterrupted mass production, the CHDx18 combines our high-speed Cartesian dispensing base with an automated conveyor system. It effortlessly transfers large, heavy, or long parts directly through the dispensing cell, integrating seamlessly into your factory's continuous flow to maximize efficiency and eliminate manual handling bottlenecks.
Built for continuous production of large, heavy, or long parts (continuous strips, filters, solar panels).
Fully automated inline conveyor systems (modular conveyor belts, elevating bands, turntables). Connects directly with inline cure tunnels and material conditioners (TCU17) for hands-free workflow.
Dosing Technology & Scientific Background
In automated inline production, material sedimentation is a critical risk when the line stands idle. Polyurethane Polyol contain suspended mineral filler materials (such as chalk or flame retardants) that sink to the bottom over time. The CHDx18 addresses this by circulating the fluid continuously from the insulated, agitated pressurized tanks, through the heated hoses, and directly up to the dosing nozzle's valve chambers, then back to the reservoir. This constant flow keeps the material homogeneous and temperature-stable at all times.
The mechanical properties of a foam gasket depend strictly on its expansion ratio, which is governed by the volume of microscopic air bubbles suspended in the Polyurethane. The CHDx18 features the DCS18 density measurement system, which continuously takes physical samples of the material and measures its specific weight. If the density deviates, the system automatically adjusts the nucleation air injectors to guarantee that every gasket produced has identical elasticity and water resistance.
Technical Specifications & Core Components
Conveyor Integration
Fully compatible with Robotek's modular transfer conveyor networks. Supports linear belts, specialized elevating conveyors, rotating turntables, and custom shuttle buffers to interface directly with existing factory robotics.
End-to-End Processing
Designed to link directly with thermal drying tunnels or UV inline curing ovens. Gaskets are flashed and dried rapidly, allowing components to be packaged or assembled immediately without waiting for standard 24-hour ambient curing.
Advanced Material Handling
Integrates the TCU17 (Active Temperature Conditioning Unit) and DCS18 (Dynamic Density Control System) to secure a robust and repeatable process window over large, multi-shift production campaigns.
Mixing Heads
Supports modular integration of low-pressure dynamic mixing heads (such as the DH15/DHL15 series) with solvent-free water flushing technology, or static mixing heads for cost-effective material applications.
Ideal Applications
Automotive Assembly Lines: Integrated inline glazing and door insulation dispensing, syncing with primary conveyor speeds.
High-Volume Air Filtration: Sealing filters continuously, where parts feed through the dispensing head non-stop.
Large Panel Bonding: Inline application of adhesive tracks on solar panels, architecture facades, and composite layers.
