Robotic Cell

Fully Automated Robotic Cell for Filter Paper Gluing

This high-capacity robotic assembly cell is engineered specifically for cleanroom HEPA and automotive heavy-duty filter paper gluing. By integrating 6-DOF articulated arms and linear slide tracks, the cell handles multiple sizes of air filters with zero manual downtime.

The process starts as filters are loaded onto transport conveyors, automatically weighed for baseline calibration, positioned inside active vacuum fixtures, glued, and moved to curing conveyors.

Robotic Cell Layout & Hardware

Handling & Dosing Machinery

  • 6-DOF Articulated Robot: Articulated handling arm featuring a heavy-duty **150 kg payload capacity** to handle multi-filter grippers.
  • Sliding Carrier Axis: Linear gantry axis allowing the robot and dosing head to slide across the workspace.
  • 3-Component Dosing: Low-pressure dosing system that handles double-layered polyurethane compounds or foam + structural glue.
  • Dual Dosing Tables: Two fixed tables allow the robot to dispense on one station while loading occurs on the other.

Conveyor Systems & Safety

  • Load & Unload Conveyors: Two separate belt conveyors automate filter handling.
  • Weighing Station: Checking conveyor logs compound weight before and after dispensing to ensure correct dosing.
  • Vacuum Suction Fixture: Vacuum suction plates grip and align filters during dynamic movements.
  • Safety Fencing: Industrial guarding panels with safety light arrays and interlocked access doors.

Drum Lids Dispensing, Stacking & Curing Line

High-capacity steel and plastic drum lid production requires continuous, high-speed polyurethane foam gasketing. Our dedicated drum lid assembly line integrates low-pressure dynamic mixing heads with automated vertical stacking structures to optimize cycle efficiency.

Lids are indexed continuously under a Cartesian gantry robot, gasketed with FIPFG thixotropic foam, automatically stacked to reduce drying footprints, and cured in temperature-conditioned conveyor ovens.

Dispensing & Coordinate Motion

  • 3-DOF Cartesian Robot: High-efficiency gantry robot programmed with circular path generators for various lid diameters.
  • 2-Component Dosing: Low-pressure dosing system that handles thixotropic foam gaskets (FIPFG).
  • Dispensing Conveyor: Indexing belt system that positions lids under the mixing nozzle and triggers the start signal.

Stacking & Curing Oven Peripherals

  • Automated Stacker: Pneumatic lifting stacker that collects gasketed lids and stacks them vertically to save floor space.
  • Multi-Storey waiting ovens: Multi-level curing tracks optimized for polyurethane tack-free cycle times (5-30 minutes).
  • Outfeed Stacking: Automatically unloads cured lids onto packaging pallets.
Filtration Lines

Air Filter Gluing & Gasketing Production Line

Filtration systems depend on airtight seals to prevent particle bypass. Our automated air filter production lines integrate frame gluing and FIPFG gasketing, driving high-volume throughput for the world's leading filter brands.

The system bonds wooden, plastic, or metal filter frames to pleated paper elements and dispenses high-performance thixotropic foam seals on outer flanges.

  • FIPFG Sealing: In-situ foam gasket dispensing directly onto outer grooves, replacing manual rubber tape.
  • Dual-Component Dynamic Mixing: Doses reactive polyurethanes with strict mixing control to achieve closed-cell structures.

Handling & Conveyors

  • High-Speed Cartesian Robots: Moves dispensing nozzles at speeds up to 300 mm/s to match assembly line rates.
  • Pneumatic Clamping Fixtures: Securely holds filter frames in place during dynamic robotic dispensing transitions.
  • Multi-Level Waiting Ovens: Cures gaskets vertically to maintain a minimal workspace footprint.
HEPA Filtration

Filter Gasket & Gel Dispensing Automation Line

High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA and ULPA) filters used in medical surgical rooms, laboratories, and microelectronic chip manufacturing require specialized gel-seal profiles to guarantee zero air leakages under high atmospheric pressure.

Our specialized gasket and gel dispensing lines are designed to handle very low viscosity gel compounds and compact polyurethane/silicon seals with bubble-free precision.

Gel & Compact Seal Features

Advanced Dosing Control

  • Gel-Seal Dosing: Specialized gear pumps meter low-viscosity, self-leveling gel compounds without material dripping.
  • Compact Gaskets (FIPG): Dispenses thin, unfoamed sealing beads directly into the enclosure grooves.
  • Drip-Free Nozzles: High-speed mechanical shut-off needles cut off material flow instantly at the coordinate ends.

Process Automation Modules

  • Vacuum Degassing: Material tanks are equipped with active vacuum systems to degas compounds before injection.
  • 3-Axis Coordinate Tracking: Linear interpolations guide the dynamic mixing heads smoothly along filter corners.
  • Uniform Joint Overlap: Advanced control software ensures a perfect overlap at start-stop locations to prevent leaks.
Household Appliance

Kitchen Sinks Sealing & Gasketing Automation Line

Our automated kitchen sink sealing lines are designed for high-efficiency FIPFG (Formed-In-Place-Foam-Gasket) applications. We support the household appliance industry by providing turnkey dispensing solutions to seal stainless steel and composite kitchen sinks.

The cell applies a thixotropic polyurethane foam bead directly onto the sink's rim under-contour. Curing happens at ambient temperature to create a resilient, waterproof seal, preventing future kitchen cabinet leaks.
