The mixing head is the technical focal point of any reactive polymer dispensing system. It is responsible for separate component injection, homogenization under high shear force, and dynamic shut-off to eliminate drips.

DH15 Series Low Pressure Dynamic Mixing Head
Designed for 2-component or 3-component systems, the DH15 is a dynamic mixing head configured to manage thixotropic and compact polymers.
- High-Speed Spindle: Speed-controlled agitator spindle adjustable from 0 to 9,000 rpm to optimize compound density.
- Modular Separation: Separate valve blocks and mixing chambers reduce maintenance times and limit operator contact with active polymers.
- Valves Configuration: Equipped with two pneumatically actuated needle seat valves for components, one flushing valve, and one air-blowing valve.
- Chamber Temp Control: Integrated heating and cooling channels stabilize the internal mixing chamber temperature.
- Tungsten Carbide Seal: Axial face seals isolate the mixer shaft from the valves, preventing leaks.
Static Mixing Head Options
For applications processing materials with low viscosity and long pot lives, we offer Static Mixing Heads:
- Disposable Static Mixers: Components meet at the nozzle outlet and mix inside static helical channels.
- Solvent-Free Operation: Eliminates flushing cycles by discarding and replacing disposable plastic mixers during production halts.
- Variable Sizing: Static mixer length and chamber diameters are configured based on flow requirements.
Environmentally Friendly Recirculating Cleaning
Our low-pressure dynamic mixing heads utilize a state-of-the-art Recirculating Cleaning System with a biodegradable cleaning agent:
- Solvent Recovery: The cleaning agent is filtered and waste particles are separated, allowing the rejuvenated agent to recycle continuously.
- EHS Standards: No methylene chloride is used, and no contaminated water is discharged. This provides a proven alternative to conventional cleaning systems, enhancing environmental safety and reducing operation cost.
