Dosing Units
DDx12 & DDFx12 Low-Pressure Dosing Units
Our state-of-the-art low-pressure dynamic dosing and mixing units (DDx12 and DDFx12) represent the engineering core of Robotek's dispensing platform. They feature a robust, unified base frame housing the switchgear cabinet, material conditioning systems, and pressurized component tanks.
Both units utilize high-precision speed-controlled metering pumps to feed raw polymers (Polyurethane, Silicone, or Epoxy) in precise mixing ratios. Ultrasonic level sensors provide feedback to automatic refilling solutions, ensuring continuous production without manual handling risks.
All component supply hoses are thermally isolated and covered with protective nylon netting to ensure constant material viscosity from the tanks to the mixing head.
Core System Features
Homogenization & Conditioning
- Pressurized Stainless Steel Tanks: Double-walled (optional) thermally isolated 40-liter component tanks.
- Active Recirculation: Materials are constantly circulated through isolated lines to maintain homogenous viscosity and temperature.
- Air Nucleation: Built-in air nucleation in the Polyol (A) tank to control gasket density during foaming.
- Agitator Integration: Speed-controlled agitators prevent sediment build-up and maintain compound consistency.
- Isocyanate Recirculation Pump: Equipped with leak-proof magnetic coupling to guarantee a fully sealed, maintenance-free operation.
- Automatic Refilling System: Embedded automatic daily tank refilling from external stations is included as a standard feature.
Process Safety & Control
- Digital Pressure Monitoring: Continuous line pressure detection halts systems and triggers automatic flushing before curing thresholds are crossed.
- Safety Valves: Pressurized tanks are equipped with certified safety relief valves.
- Ultrasonic Level Sensors: Real-time volume feedback prevents air entry into the pumps.
- Anti-Dripping Valve: Prevents material leakage during high-speed coordinate transitions.
- Precise Tank Air Regulators: High-precision regulators control the head space air pressure of the component tanks.
- Temperature Monitoring: Temperature sensors in the daily component tanks and hoses feed real-time material temperatures back to the conditioning loop.
